We will contact you by telephone to discuss your your registration in further detail and happy to answer any questions you may have. During consultation, we learn about every aspect of the role you seek to fill (duties, schedule, salary etc), candidate credentials, about your child/children (for childcare and educational roles), your home (formal/informal/other household staff) and your family. The above is an important step in doing everything we can to find you, your family and your home the right candidate for a long and happy placement, or for as long as you need. Taking time to listen to our clients is something we have been praised for, especially when it comes to your children and understanding their unique needs. To us, Every Child Matters.

Candidate interview

We source candidates from our database or from reputable industry websites to find the most suitable candidate. We believe in quality candidates over quantity, and will carefully select those against the criteria provided to us during consultation. Once shortlisted, we present their profiles to you. After a few days, or as soon as you are ready, we ask for feedback and who you would like to interview. The agency will mediate between both parties in order to arrange a suitable interview time that works for you both. A face to face interview (office/home/hotel) is by far the best way to conduct an interview, but where this is not possible, Skype is commonly used and WhatsApp, most notably for international clients. Once interviews have been completed, we will contact both yourself and the candidate for feedback. In the event you would like to see more candidates before making a decision, then this fine.

Choosing your candidate

Once you have chosen your ideal candidate, we advise a trial period, especially if you have for example, two great candidates; a trial will certainly help in your decision making. It is so important that you are comfortable with the person you employ, to entrust your children with or manage your home, for example, to carry out the duties and responsibilities assigned to them with full competency and trust. And, why we offer a 12 week probationary period for long term contracts subject to our Terms and Conditions.

The final step is to cover all legalities, such as the contract between yourself (client) and the candidate you choose to employ. Sample contracts can be provided on request. Fees are paid to the agency for the service provided, to be paid in full prior to the candidate starting employment. Clients (employer) are responsible for all employment matters (e.g. TAX and National Insurance contributions etc). We can recommend a professional and long standing agency which is registered - that caters specifically to the private household insdustry. They can advise or manage the entire process for you. Where candidates are employed in overseas roles, the client is responsibility for all visas, flights, medical and travel insurance etc, as well as other costs for the candidate to work legally within the overseas country in which they are employed.

Post placement support

We offer post placement support to all our clients for as long as you need us and most notably during the probationary period. We will contact you during this period to ensure the placement is a success and to smooth out any issues should they arise to enable a happy and long lasting progessional working relationship with your Childcarer, Educational or Household member of staff.
