URGENTLY REQUIRED. A qualified and highly experienced Governor/Tutor is required for a high-profile family in London/overseas with international travel. The Governor's responsibility is to tutor children (KS2) and carry out duties that is typically associated with such roles to the highest of standards. The role would suit a well-qualified PGCE or B.Ed teacher, preferably a primary teacher or someone with proven experience tutoring curricular subjects and preparing children for independent entrance exams. You will also plan and arrange age-appropriate activities that challenge and are educational and fun. For example, arts and crafts, games such as chess, trips to the museum, theatre, sporting and water activities and so-on as well as introduce the children to new activities to develop their knowledge and skills further. Good manners, behaviour and respect is important; therefore, a great role model for the children is essential. Essential requirements:

A high-profile client residing in London N1 is seeking a kind, caring and nurturing Governess that is able to guide and support two children - twins aged 15 (with SEN - ADHD/Autism) in their daily lives. An individual that is educated, such as a qualified teacher (PGCE/B.Ed) that can assist the children with their GCSE'S across the curricula; to support homework and bridge gaps within their education is preferred. The children are very creative, so a person that loves art to creative writing would fit in well with this family.
This is a lovely sole charge position for a Governess who has experience working with teenagers and is happy to fulfill the duties of a Nanny as well, and proxy parent when required. The children have a great bond with their present nanny who has been with the family for a couple of years, so it is extremely important to find the perfect match for them.
This is a full-time, live-in and permanent position with a guide to duties as follows:

Our client residing in West London requires a part-time Tutor/Governor/Governess for one child, currently in Year 6. The position requires excellent tutoring experience to be able to provide homework support, in addition to preparing the child for the 11 and13 plus examination.

Schedule:

An international family in North London is seeking a Live-in Governess/Tutor/Qualified Teacher for their two children who are in Key Stage Two. The ideal candidate for this position will be someone who is a qualified primary teacher (PGCE/B.Ed) with curriculum (core and foundation) knowledge across subject matter in order to support the academic side of the role. You will also provide additional educational and leisure time activities enabling a more balanced and holistic approach, which is beneficial to the children's overall well-being and development.
Duties will include but not limited to - taking the children to and from school, homework support, eat with them at meal times, arrange indoor and outdoor activities, such as arts and crafts, games, visits to the museum, as well as manage their diaries and liaise with their teachers.
There are two older children within the fully-staffed house who you will mentor when required - one is in secondary school and the other is at college. The younger children will be your main responsibility and there is a nanny employed for all nanny duties.
The family are looking for an English native speaker who is mature, professional, proactive, organised, creative and active.
The working schedule is Monday to Friday from 07:30 - 10:30 and 14:00 to 20:00. The role is live-in and you may be required to be at the house on Sunday evening, but this could be discussed at interview.
